Principal Connections - executive search invites applications for the new senior leadership role of General Manager on behalf of our client, a highly successful and growing Retail Group with stores across the Munster region.
THE POSITION
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the post of the General Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Group engaging with key stakeholders to drive and deliver key performance indicators, targets and service level agreements managing productivity, safety, quality and strong financial performance.
As the leader of the Senior Management Team, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing the high-level running of all departmental functions in addition to managing the supporting resources and processes that enable the Group to run effectively and efficiently. This is an integral role in driving change, implementing processes, structures, and new ways of working and thinking to enable the Group to achieve its growth objectives while continuing to deliver an excellent customer experience.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will be a "hands-on" and self-motivated individual operating at an appropriate senior management level with the capacity to deliver on the day-to-day management of a growing Retail Group of stores. A willingness to travel occasionally together with a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the Group will be essential.
